Methyl esters
We offer methyl esters of higher fatty acids which are produced by the Tychy-based Bioagra-Oil SA plant.
Methyl esters are obtained in the process of transesterification of plant oils with the use of methyl alcohol (FAME) or in the transesterification process of rapeseed oil made with the use of methyl alcohol (RME).
By using rapeseed oil for production of methyl esters we can obtain the highest quality RME product with parameters often exceeding the requirements of the Polish and EU quality standards including EN 14 214
Methyl esters can be used as a biological component of diesel oil, as well as standalone fuel for vehicles with diesel engines.
B100 can be used for diesel engines included in:
- passenger cars and trucks;
- buses;
- tractors and agricultural machinery;
- other machinery and devices.
The methyl esters used as a standalone fuel (B100) have similar physical and chemical properties to diesel fuel. They constitute renewable and biodegradable fuel and are a possible alternative for the diminishing fossil resources. It is also important that methyl esters provide the lowest greenhouse gas emissions known to have adverse impact on the climate change.
In addition, the methyl esters are used in the oil and chemical industry as a raw material for other products.
The production meets ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND ISCC-EU standards.
