The purpose of the implemented system of sustainable development at BZK GROUP is to maintain the highest standards of production while respecting the principles of the 2009/28/EC Directive on the promotion of the use of energy from renewable sources and the provisions of the Act dated 25 August 2006 on biocomponents and liquid biofuels.

Finished products offered on the market of biofuels (ethanol dehydrated, methyl esters) by BZK GROUP are manufactured in accordance with the ISCC standard and specified criteria for sustainable development in the entire production chain of biofuels. This chain originates from farmers producing raw materials.

Raw materials for the production of sustainable biofuels are sourced through signed contracts for purchase of raw materials directly from farmers, but also from producer groups and intermediary companies in case of sustainable sale.

Agricultural producers are expected to fill an additional declaration stating their participation in the subsidy system of direct payments, and declare that their products come from their own crops and meet the sustainability criteria set out in the 2009/28/EC Directive of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Producer groups and intermediary companies are required to have a valid certificate on the day of the sales, held within selected sustainable biofuel production systems approved by the European Commission. Sustainable development Systems best adopted to Polish conditions are the systems of REDcert ISCC EU and EU.

The Certificate of sustainable development is to confirm that a given entity meets all the criteria of a particular system and the 2009/28/EC Directive. In order to obtain certification of sustainable development, the certification audit conducted by an independent certification body must have a positive result.
